At Stream Companies, we’re excited to introduce our new Philadelphia office! Located right in the hub of Center City, on Market Street, with the perfect view of the city’s founder: William Penn—atop of City Hall.
While Stream Companies is no stranger to the City of Brotherly Love, expanding our Philadelphia presence was necessary to accommodate the growing team of industry experts and marketing wizards. The new office is even more of a convenient commute for the 40+ members, who utilize SEPTA and their own feet rather than the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Malvern.
A View from Up Top
One aspect of the new office that seems to be a favorite among most of the Streamers is the amazing view of the city, just adjacent to City Hall and Liberty Place—nestled perfectly among the iconic skyline, one of the things the city is known for; other than cheesesteaks and rowdy sports fans. The impressive views from the 27th Floor inspire the team, as they feed off the energy of the city to work towards helping our clients achieve their goals.
“The atmosphere is fun like all other Stream offices, just with a better view,” Mason Miller, Interactive Developer, had to say about the new digs.
“It could not be in a better location! We can walk out the door and find anything we need. My work/life balance has improved 100%,” Julia Giacoboni, Director of Advertising Technology, added.
The entire team unanimously loves the impressive views of the city from the crow’s-nest-like office. It’s a welcomed sight every morning as the Streamers roll in to start their day.
Why Center City?
Given the size of Philadelphia, and the plenty of available office spaces in the newly constructed buildings around town, it begs the question, “Why Center City?” Stream recently had an office in Old City, but considering the rapid expansion and growth of the company, the smaller quarters just wouldn’t do for the team members looking to head to the big city for work.
“Many team members today value an urban environment because of the proximity to culture and cuisine. Philly offers some of the best of both,” said Jason Brennan, Stream’s Co-founder.
“After having an office in Old City for over five years, we welcome a Center City location with better access to facilities and access transportation. It’s a first-class office for a first-class team doing first-class work,” he concluded.
Incorporating Philly Into Stream
The office encompasses several aspects of the city. Whether it’s the meeting rooms that are aptly named “Wooder Ice”, “The Jawn”, and “Wit Wiz” to enjoying soft pretzels or heading out to some of the great eateries in the vicinity. Most notably, PokeSpot, The Foodery, The Reading Terminal Market, and the variety of food trucks lining Market Street are among the favorites of the team.
