Allowing automotive companies to deploy truly seamless websites throughout all devices and increase customer engagement.
Malvern, PA – Stream Companies, a fully integrated advertising agency in the Philadelphia area, today announced the results of their comparative study, which measured the performance between fully responsive automotive website designs and adaptive automotive website designs.
In a recent study, eMarketer estimates the number of smartphone users within the United States to increase to 192.4 million users by 2016. Along with this continued growth, comes the demand for businesses to provide their prospects and customers with a perfectly seamless, online user experience across all devices. Recognizing this expectation for a truly consistent experience, Stream Companies executed a study within the automotive industry to determine how adaptive website designs compared to responsive website designs.
Stream Companies’ study consisted of tracking specific engagement metrics of four automotive mobile websites under the same brand – comparing one responsive website to three adaptive websites. At the end of the study, Stream Companies found the following results: the responsive website design earned double the amount of pages per visit, forty-three percent more time spent on site, and one third of the bounce rate when compared to the averages of the adaptive websites. “I could not be happier with the results of my responsive websites,” says Steve Bernardino, Director of Operations, Montgomeryville Nissan and Montgomeryville Acura.
“We were excited to release our fully responsive website design platform in April of 2013 for our automotive clients, but are even more thrilled to see the proven results,” says David Regn, Co-founder, Stream Companies. “With the drastic increase of automotive customers completing their preliminary research online, our dealership clients can now offer a consistent experience that’s user-friendly across every device and simple to maintain.”
