Fred Beans Family of Dealerships, Pennsylvania's largest privately held automotive group, has been a longstanding client of Stream Companies. Stream Companies proactively presented a social media marketing campaign which would not only increase the "likes" on Fred Beans' Facebook page, but also increase brand loyalty, network exposure and engagement.
Stream Companies developed a like-gated sweepstakes for Fred Beans Family of Dealerships. In like-gated sweepstakes, a user "likes" a page, provides contact information and enters to win a prize. These like-gated sweepstakes allow brands to offer a give and take opportunity; customers may win a valuable prize, and companies build brand equity and market their products and services.
As a regional brand, Fred Beans took advantage of the locally hosted Winter Classic and local Flyer fans' die-hard loyalty. Tickets to the 2012 Winter Classic were a precious commodity, and during the Winter Classic Tickets Giveaway campaign, one lucky and very "Flyered up" winner would receive two tickets to the upcoming event.
The Winter Classic Tickets Giveaway is an example of how a like-gated campaign can substantially increase the number of "likes," and more importantly, increase the amount of interaction. Stream Companies used Facebook to improve the brand reputation and brand awareness of Fred Beans Family of Dealerships.
