SEO Consultant

Stream Companies is looking for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) consultant who aspires to work in a full service integrated marketing agency setting and has a passion for online marketing.

Stream Companies is a growing full service integrated advertising agency offering a wide array of design, development, and marketing services aimed at establishing a highly effective online and offline presence for our clients.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:

• Optimize client websites for search engines
• Link-building initiatives: planning, coordinating, executing, tracking, analyzing and then repeating
• Contacting relevant blogs/news outlets to get them writing about our products/websites
• Getting how-to & resource-oriented websites to link to our sites
• Submitting sites to relevant web directories, social media sites, participation in forums, etc
• Developing & implementing other ways to acquire incoming website links
• Prepare monthly Internet marketing campaign reports
• Optimize web content for keywords related to client products and services
• Write client blog posts and web press releases
• Provide social media monitoring and management services
• Consult with clients about their business goals and work with senior marketers to propose solutions and strategies that meet their needs
• Perform website usability and website conversion rate testing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience managing SEO Campaigns across the major search engines.
• Proof of advanced knowledge of SEO — blogs, articles, case studies, speaking engagements etc.
• Strong ability to analyze data from search engines, analytics packages, internal data and make actionable decisions and recommendations
• Excellent written, interpersonal, communication and public speaking/presentation skills
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Enthusiasm about SEO and the internal drive to continuously learn in order to keep up with the latest SEO trends
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task with solid time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, open, entrepreneurial environment

A BIG plus if you have:

• Basic HTML experience
• Advertising agency experience
• Prior Link building and social outreach experience
